Dr. Volker Graefe, the professor of Bundeswehr University München, came to our university last week, and gave us an excellent lecture about the robot. And there are six parts in his lecture as following:
1. From ancient machine to current robot
2. From industry robot to personal assistant robot
3. The vision of the robot
4. The automatic control of the robot
5. The intelligent control of the robot
5. The advanced robot--Hermes
In his lecture, he talked about the history and application of the robot from ancient years to current days via his vividly slideshow. In the middle part of the lecture, he played a video, which was taken by BBC in 1990s, about an automatic controled car in UK. As you know, China is a developing control in the world. And being a chinese, I have to addmit that it is a long way for us to develop our own technology and science. And some of the western countries are truly powerful in the advanced technology. In the sixth part of the lecture, Professor Graefe gave us an instruction of the advanced robor--Hermes. He instructed the system and construction of the robot, and we have seen a video of the test of the robot. At last, we were so lucky to have time to talk about the robot with Professor Graefe, and he gave all of us satisfactory answers. And I started to find out that I am so interested in the research of robot. Perhaps that will be my future research direction.

MY RECENT MISSIONS
I have to accept the busy life recently, and I list my missions which I have to finish in 2 months:
1. finish the paper for the CHALLENGE CUP CONTEST
2. pass the test and get the certificate of ADVANCED ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
3. start to study the totally new device--dspic30f4012
4. hand over the paper report to my tutor
5. finish my project about S7-400(difficult)
6. do more exercises to have a healthy body ( LOL)
7. strengthen my ENGLISH!!!( important)
